two days in a row? yes. yes sir.
Shooting DIIV live, outdoors, right next to the ocean (Oshen HA!…..nvmforgetit) in Pier 84 was perfect.

What do you do the Monday after a music-packed weekend at the Governor’s Ball Music Festival?
Listen to more music. What else?
Today the band DIIV stopped by to perform an intimate mini-concert right in the middle of our office.
I’m not going to pretend that I got into them before this. Because I didn’t. I didn’t even know how to pronounce DIIV ( dive? div? D two V? ).
But wow, the were great live! Even though we were inside a tiny office in an old pencil factory, people were jamming along to, the “German-punk-beach-wave music that people should be moshing to”, according to the dude on my right.
It was great. We sold signed DIIV posters and records ( their signatures are pretty unique), drank free beer provided by Brooklyn Brewery, and got to listen to a great up-and-coming band right in our workplace.
Who could ask for a better Monday?
